Heritage

From the manor, other buildings appear, directly related with the agricultural and production labors, as the house of the farmers, the warehouse - press, one of the biggest of Almansa, stables, corrals, etc. All this patrimonial wealth of Santa Rosa is completed by the natural local values and the environment. TASTING NOTE

It is blessed with a luminescent golden yellow color. It has a fresh, clean and intense aroma with hints of citrus, fresh-cut grass, artichoke and green almonds remembrances. It has an intense flavor where the aromas of citrus, almonds and herbs flourish. When the tasting comes to an end a slight and pleasant itch that slowly covers the palate is perceived by the retro-nasal canal due to its high content of polyphenols.

MATAMANGOS MOD - Cosecha 2016

El otoño es cálido teniendo muchos días de sol con temperaturas que alcanzan los 20º. Las temperaturas mínimas apenas llegan a 0º habiendo alguna ligera helada muy puntual, no habiendo llovido prácticamente nada en todo el otoño.Igualmente seco se pasa el invierno con temperaturas bastante moderadas/altas y muy pocas heladas.

Por contra la primavera arranca lluviosa y continua lloviendo moderadamente pero muy bien caído (20 litros en marzo y 40 en abril)

El verano es muy seco sin llover prácticamente nada hasta mediados de agosto, pero tampoco ha sido muy caluroso. Tan solo día puntuales se llega a 37/38º pero siempre con noches frescas. Septiembre empieza con una fuerte ola de calor, llegando varios días a 40 con noches muy cálidas pero a mitad de mes caen unas tormentas y bajan bruscamente las temperaturas nocturnas

 

NOTA DE CATA

Intenso color rubí, con tonos violáceos, que presacgain su gran concentración, equilibrio aromático entre la frescura y notas florales de la garnacha tintorera con las especies, tostados y fruta negra de la cabernet sauvignon vendimiada en su punto óptimo de maduración.

Esta añada por primera vez añdadimos un poquito de Monastrell, obteniendo más balsámicos, complejidad y empaque.
